Team Kruger 1 - Pictures During the Race
The Great Mississippi River Race for Rett Syndrome May 5-31, 2001

Team Kruger, after the start.

Passing a slightly flooded home in Minnesota. The flooded waters of the Mississippi during the spring of 1999 proved to dangerous and unrelenting at times for paddlers as well as for those who lived nearby....

Team Kruger road crew waiting on one side of a culvert, not too far from the start (do you see them yet?)

And Team Kruger comin' through on the other side...

And they are out!

Safe and sound... Bob Branford is forward, Verlen Kruger in back of the Kruger canoe. All other teams portaged this culvert.
