Dinner and Night Before the Race

The Minnesota Angels hosted a home cooked spagetti dinner for the teams the night before the race...

Special thanks to all those families who came to meet and support race teams! Many racers and team members commented later that they had never had anyone really come out and support them like this in any other race!

From L to R: Team Amazon member, Megan Duffy (Team Amazon), Andrew Gribble (Team Double Helix), Kurt Zimmermann (Team Double Helix), Bob Bradford (Team Kruger), Cynthia Belbin (Team Kruger), Verlen Kruger (Team Kruger)

A cake baked by the Minnesota Angels for the dinner - the cake eludes to a documentary staring Julia Roberts about Rett syndrome. This documentary airs on television on the Discovery Health channel.

Moms and Grandmoms in the kitchen cooking! Many thanks!

Never enough cooks in this kitchen!

Tammy Hanson cutting the first piece of the cake. Tammy Hanson's daughter, Rachel, has Rett syndrome.

Brie and Brianna enjoy the social time after dinner!
